And here I am remembering that they put a decent amount of cash into a flat plane crank V8.....
I don't think the V8 is driving off into the sunset just yet.....

It does look like they are positioning the ttV6 as their top level engine, but the engine for the GT is more related to their racing engine than the one they have in their trucks. It makes sense that they would put it into the GT, because it both makes the GT more exotic and special, and makes their regular cars seem more special. They aren't giving up on the V8 anytime soon, as the GT350 is proving, they are just positioning it is a Mustang engine, agian making the Mustang that much more special in the lineup.

What if in addition to the GT, they make a Ford GT/R (it can't be a dash because of Nissan so use a slash instead) that has the 5.2 TT?
